Dansko shoes are sized according to European whole size standards.  Most of our customers find the EURO sizing is more forgiving than US sizing.  See the comparable US sizing as a guide.  If you are a half size, 8.5 for example, size up to a EU39 for women and EU42 for men.

FITTING DANSKO CLOSED BACK CLOGS

Fit may be slightly snug when stepping in.  Toes should not touch the front of the clog.  Heel should move up and down freely as you walk.  These are guidelines to consider as you decide your own personal fit preference!

FITTING DANSKO OPEN BACK SANDAL STYLES

Open back and sandal styles support the full length of the foot.  For some, the heel will meet the back end of the shoe; for others the heel may be slightly forward of the back of the shoe.  

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Wipe with a damp cloth to remove surface dirt.  Dansko recommends occasional application of conditioning products to maintain a richer appearance.
