Get Your Rear in Gear Walk for Colon Cancer

A strong team from Danform Shoes stepped out on a sunny August morning fo support the 2019 Get Your Rear in Gear Colon Cancer Coalition 5K!   The Colon Cancer Coalition works to raise awareness about the 2nd deadliest cancer.  Did you know that 1 in 23 people develop colon cancer in their lifetime?  If you were born in the '90s, you have 2x the risk of colon cancer than someone born in the '50s. On-time screening is the best prevention.

Our Danform team was honored to take the top fundraising award for 2019.  

Danform Shoes core value is to provide footwear that keeps your feet healthy for life. Walking the talk, three of Danform's walkers were medalists in the over 70 division.  Pictured are Helen, one of our owners, and Gladys, who works in our winter boots division.  Special shoutout for the walk-friendly HOBO bag!
